Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you enquire or book with us, we collect:

• Name, phone number, email address, and postcode
• Your driving experience, provisional licence status, and theory test status
• Any test date you've already booked
• What's prompted you to get in touch, and anything you'd like us to know about your confidence or nerves around driving
• How you heard about us, and who referred you, if anyone
• Your language, and any instructor preference (for example, a female instructor), so we can match you with the right instructor
• Your lesson and package history with us

We do not store your provisional licence number or a photo of it. Your instructor checks it in person at your first session: we don't keep a copy.

We do not store your card or payment details. All payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We only see confirmation that a payment was made, not your card information itself. If you're on a payment plan (paying in instalments rather than upfront), Stripe retains your card details for the duration of that plan specifically, so scheduled payments can be taken automatically: this is not something we can see or access ourselves.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

• Match you with the right instructor and build a lesson plan suited to you
• Confirm and manage your bookings
• Contact you about your lessons, your account, or things relevant to your learning
• Process payments (via Stripe)
• With your consent, feature your photo and first name on our Pass Wall if you pass your test

A note on sensitive information

If you tell us something personal, for example, about anxiety or nervousness around driving, we only use this to help your instructor support you better. We don't share it beyond what's needed for your instructor to teach you well, and we don't use it for any other purpose.

Who we share your data with

• Your instructor, so they can prepare for and deliver your lessons
• Stripe, to process payments securely
• ScoreApp, if you complete our learner-type quiz: your responses are processed through their platform to generate your result
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone else for marketing purposes

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you're an active student, and for a reasonable period after in case you return to us or for our own record-keeping (for example, financial records, which we may need to retain for tax purposes). If you'd like your data deleted sooner, contact us and we'll action this unless we're legally required to keep certain records.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See what personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything that's inaccurate
• Delete your data (subject to any legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of the Pass Wall, even after initially agreeing to it
